Produced by Chivas Brothers in Scotland, Chivas Regal Extra 13 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky aged for a minimum of 13 years and finished in selected specialty casks to enhance the signature Chivas style. Depending on the release, these may include Oloroso sherry, American bourbon, rye, rum, or tequila casks, each adding an extra layer of flavour to the classic blend built around Speyside malts such as Strathisla. The “Extra” series sits stylistically between Chivas 12 and Chivas 18, offering richer and more expressive character while retaining the brand’s hallmark smoothness.
